LPDC’s Chairman received a delegation from the UNRWA and Refugee Affairs Department of the Democratic Front

The Chairman of the Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee Ambassador Ramez Dimechkie, received a delegation from the UNRWA and Refugee Affairs Department of the Democratic Front, which included Atef Khalil, Samir Doudar, Nasser Shahrour, and Jamil Obeid.

The discussions addressed recent developments and the plans in place for emergency response to the current situation, as well as ways to address the issue of displacement to and from the camps in a manner that ensures a dignified life for Palestinian refugees.

Dimechkie informed the delegation of the intention of the Higher Relief Commission to begin distributing relief aid to displaced persons in the Nahr al-Bared and Beddawi camps, with plans to expand later to other areas.
