A series of meetings and discussions by the Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee led to clarifying the existing ambiguities regarding the implementing decrees of the Nursing Practice Law

The series of meetings and discussions conducted by the Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee, which began at the Ministry of Health and concluded last week with a positive meeting with the President of the Order of Nurses in Lebanon, Ms. Abir Kirdi, in the presence of the Vice President, Ms. Natalie Risha, and the Association’s legal advisor, Attorney Roger Abi Rashid, followed by continued engagement with Palestinian civil society organizations, particularly the Palestinian Human Rights Organization (SHAMS) and the Director of the Palestinian Student Fund, led to the clarification of existing ambiguities regarding the implementing decrees of the Nursing Practice Law.

President of the Order of Nurses informed the committee of a sustainable solution, which was translated into a proposal to amend Article 16 of the law, and this proposal has been submitted to the Ministry of Health.

The Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee continues its direct engagement with the Ministry of Health with the aim of issuing the legal amendment as quickly as possible.
