LPDC Chairman meets with PRCS President

LPDC Chairman Dr. Bassel Al Hassan met with the President of the Palestine Red Crescent Society, Dr. Younes Al Khatib, who was accompanied by Dr. Mohammad Hamoud, at the LPDC office in the Grand Serail. They discussed how to enhance the medical response of PRCS in the Ain El Helweh camp, and resuming and strengthening their partnership with LPDC. Chairman of LPDC, Dr. Bassel Al Hassan, affirmed, “The Palestine Red Crescent Society is one of the most important Palestinian institutions. Its role must be invigorated in the camps to assist refugees.” Dr. Al Khatib, stressed upon the impartiality of PRCS, its refusal to side with one party against another, and its commitment to its humanitarian role.
