Strategic Meeting between LPDC’s Chairman and GIZ

LPDC’s Chairman Ambassador Ramez Dimechkie held a strategic meeting with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) Program Director, Stipanka Stanic, and Regional Team Leader Joachim Kaspari.

The meeting focused on discussing the draft of the letter of Intent, which is expected to be signed between the two sides. The declaration reflects GIZ’s commitment to continuing its support for the Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee and building on the achievements made under previous agreements, thereby strengthening cooperation and the strategic partnership between the two parties.

The participants also discussed the role of the forthcoming agreement in supporting the shared vision of the Committee and GIZ, particularly in supporting UNRWA’s efforts and enhancing opportunities to improve the livelihoods of Palestinian refugees. This reflects the alignment and complementarity of the priorities of the various stakeholders.
