Formation of the Lebanese working group assigned to address the issues of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon
The Prime Minister,
Pursuant to the Decree No. 8375 dated 10/9/2021 (Nomination of Mr. Najib Mikati as Prime Minister),
Pursuant to the Resolution No. 89/2005 dated 25/11/2005 (Formation of the Lebanese working group to address the issues of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon) and its amendments,
Pursuant to the Resolution No. 142/2021 dated 28/10/2021 (Appointment of a President to the Lebanese working group assigned to address the issues of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon),
Pursuant to the letter of the Lebanese Palestinian Dialogue Committee No. 998/2021 dated 7/12/2021 and No. 999/2022 dated 3/3/2022,
Draws the following:
Article 1: The Lebanese working group assigned to address the issues of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon is composed of the following Messrs.:

Article 2: The group’s tasks includes the following four axes:
- Addressing the needs of the Palestinians living in Lebanon and the camps’ daily lives, social, economic, and human rights concerns, in cooperation with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in Lebanon (UNRWA), and other relevant international and national institutions,
- Establishing a mechanism to end the presence of Palestinian weapons outside the camps,
- Working to address the issue of Palestinian weapons inside the camps in terms of organizing and controlling them,
- Coordinating with official institutions and other institutions to implement the state’s general policy towards the Palestinian file in Lebanon.
Article 3: This resolution will be announced at the appropriate time.
