Explosion in Port of Beirut

6 August 2020 – Beirut, Lebanon. Abdo Pharaon looks at ruins of his home and Beirut in the aftermath of the 4 August explosion in Port of Beirut, which resulted in the destruction of over 300,000 people’s homes. He was in his home when the explosion happened. Abdo was born there and has lived there all his life. His great-grandfather built this house 200 years ago. “All is gone, and nothing is left but me. I am still here,” he says.
